Summer is Here!
The snow is gone, and it's hot in Anchorage. Escape the heat and the crowds at Arctic Valley. The Marston trail and the South Fork Overlook trail are our most popular and easiest routes. The more adventurous can head straight up the mountain. Wherever you go, please remember to pay the parking fee, and have a great time!
Haven't bought your parking pass yet for summer hiking season? Become an Anchorage Ski Club member for $25 and park for free all summer! The membership year runs from November 1 - October 31.
Planning an event? Check our lodge rentals page, and send us an inquiry! We just had the weekend of July 15-17 open up if you need a venue for 2016. We are now booking events for summer 2017! See our updated rental prices and policies for 2017 events.
Support Arctic Valley!
We have much more to do to keep Arctic Valley running smoothly - don't forget to add us to your Pick. Click Give. donations when you file for your Alaska PFD. If you have already filed, it's not too late, you can still add PCG donations to your applications.
Please renew your membership now! All members receive free parking at the Arctic Valley trailhead; individual members also receive discounts on lift tickets; and Uber members receive season passes.
Please remember to pay the $5 parking fee at the trailhead kiosk, or purchase a membership to Arctic Valley and the Anchorage Ski Club and park for free all summer! Memberships start at just $25, and include parking privileges through November 1, 2015. This $25 membership takes the place of our previous annual parking pass program.
When hiking, please stay clear of the lifts, and especially of the top and bottom terminals. Lifts may start at any time without warning.
If you are interested in renting the Alpenglow Lodge for your event, please check out our lodge rentals page! We still have weekend dates in August and September 2016, and lots of midweek dates for rentals.
